Bray Wyatt is currently involved in a match build-up with Bobby Lashley for WrestleMania 39. A couple of weeks prior, ‘The Eater of the Worlds’ brought the FireFly Funhouse to confront The All Mighty. However, shortly after that Wyatt wasn’t on SmackDown as their feud builds toward the grandest stage at their own pace. But wrestling veteran Jim Cornette recently questioned Wyatt’s current role in WWE.

Cornette recently criticized the WWE creative over the former WWE Champion’s current situation in the company. He is concerned about the match WWE has already announced for WrestleMania 39 may not get the right build-up.

What has Bray Wyatt done? says Jim Cornette 

Recently on Jim Cornette’s: Drive Thru podcast, the wrestling legend talked about Bray Wyatt. It seemed he was upset with the current role of the former Universal Champion in WWE after his return last year.

Cornette said, “Yeah, cuz I don’t know what he’s done. Besides, being there, he’s there….But, what is he done? And, what is, who’s Captain howdy en? And what is he done? Or what is he going to do? Or what did they ever do?”

The 61-year-old added, “And whose side is Bray Wyatt and Captain howdy are on each other side until they beat each other up and then they both disappear. I don’t understand.”

As per a report by Fightful Select, Wyatt is currently out because of ‘physical issues”. However, WWE didn’t give any update officially about the same. The status of Wyatt’s WrestleMania match with Lashley is still up in the air.

WWE booked this feud after Lashley and Brock Lesnar‘s last match at the Elimination Chamber. As Lesnar is set to face Omos, The Almighty’s match might take a turn at the grandest stage.

Uncle Howdy can wrestle on behalf of Wyatt

Cornette shared how WWE can bring a turn in this feud if Wyatt isn’t fit to wrestle for WrestleMania 39. The company has already advertised the match and Uncle Howdy can fight The All Mighty at WrestleMania.

Cornette said that WWE can involve Uncle Howdy against Lashley if Wyatt is unable to wrestle at the big event. He added, “Then it wouldn’t hurt if Lashley just beats ol Captain howdy. But at least there’s some kind of tie-in to what they’ve been doing. But that seems like kind of a letdown.”

The identity of Uncle Howdy is still not being revealed on WWE TV. Moreover, Howdy confronted Lashley last week but, was taken down. Wyatt returned to WWE last year at Extreme Rules. Since then he is having matches at house shows and had a major match at Royal Rumble.
