Is Jey Uso ready to take on The Judgment Day, or is he biting off more than he can chew?

Jey Uso unexpectedly signed with the red brand after he left The Bloodline and seemingly quit WWE last year. This was when his storyline with the Judgment Day began. The heel stable tried to lure him in and Rhea Ripley was also using her charm to make Uso a valuable member of their faction.

Although the tricks that she played did not work on him, he surely has developed an infatuation for Mami, one that persists to this day. A fan online has been busy theorizing how this can be the start of a bigger feud on Monday Night Raw.

Should Jey Uso be on the lookout?

The WWE main roster has been seeing several changes in storylines and power dynamics and it seems like another big one is getting hurled our way. On Monday Night Raw 07/22, in a backstage segment, every JD member was at the ‘clubhouse’, hanging out. This is when Dominik Mysterio initiated that he noticed Ripley replying to Jey Uso’s flirting online.

When Finn Balor overheard the conversation, he asked Mysterio to go after Jey Uso and teach him a lesson. However, The Eradicator seemed hesitant in letting them do so, showing that she may have a soft corner for him, even if she claims otherwise.

A fan’s theory suggests that she is resisting her heel tendencies and is probably developing feelings for Jey Uso.

Is Jey Uso ready to take on The Judgment Day, or is he biting off more than he can chew?

Moreover, Balor also seemed to command Mysterio indirectly to go after Jey Uso. He did this after patronizing Rhea Ripley for having a soft spot for Jey Uso. According to the same tweet, the Irish wrestler was acting weird in the promo. Could he be up to something?

Finn Balor may be Jey Uso’s next big opponent

The Judgment Day boys went out to hunt for the “main event” star and eventually found him backstage. They had him cornered when the Intercontinental Champion came to his rescue. Later in the night, we saw Finn Balor and JD McDonagh losing to Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. This showed that Balor was out for the younger Uso’s blood and didn’t want to stop at anything. Although he lost the main event on Monday Night Raw 07/22, Jey may still have to deal with him further down the road, because Balor may be taking over Judgment Day soon.

A fan page posted an old clip a few days ago from the year 2022. In the video, we can see Finn Balor teaming up with Liv Morgan and another top WWE talent to plan and take down Judgment Day. So, according to the theory posted with that Instagram reel, this could be long-term storytelling unfolding in front of our eyes. This means that Finn Balor is doing what he is doing to dismantle the stable from within. But since he likes the power, he could be trying to assume control over things by making them feud internally. Jey Uso’s storyline with Judgment Day might have only begun.
