It’s been a year now since Jey Uso moved to Monday Night RAW to be away from his family, and there he focused more on his singles career, also fighting on several occasions for the Intercontinental title and the World Heavyweight Championship without ever succeeding in conquering them.

What has not changed, however, is his charisma and style, characterized by particular T-shirts, sunglasses, and hair dye. However, what hasn’t changed is his status as a midcarder, despite being nicknamed ‘Main Event.’ For months, Uso has been among the highest merch sellers for the promotion and has been over among fans for a long time now.

However, it seems like the WWE creatives are in no mood to push the singles star. While Jey Uso has found legendary success as a tag team with his brother Jimmy Uso, he has been thrown into different feuds ever since he turned into a singles superstar. Although there were hints of him returning to the tag scene by pairing up with Sami Zayn, it seems like there is a change of plan.

Now the Main Event is looking to get his hands on the Intercontinental Championship belt instead. This surely irked the WWE Universe, as they were quick to call out the horrible booking of the former Bloodline member. As @Navtreaks on X pointed out, there are inconsistencies in Uso’s storyline. He wrote, “I’m a little confused because 2 weeks ago Jey told Sami they going after the tag titles. Now Jey going for the IC? #WWERaw”

This opinion was surely seconded by many, as the tweet got nearly 3,000 likes in a few hours. Several fans, too, voiced their opinion against the booking decisions and shared their thoughts in the comment section of the post.

In recent months, during Roman Reigns‘ hiatus from the scene, Solo Sikoa took over the Bloodline and appointed himself as the new Tribal Chief. Thus expelling the old members from the family and replacing them with new members: Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. However, the new Bloodline began to stagger when Roman Reigns returned to SummerSlam and cost his former Enforcer, the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Then a week ago on SmackDown, “The OTC” took out all members of the faction before he was taken out by Jacob Fatu in the latest edition of the Blue Brand. This is now hinting at a possible reunion between the old Bloodline, thus again making Jey Usos’ wish to be the Intercontinental Champion irrelevant. Something that has become the theme according to several WWE fans.

Many more fans called out the fact that maybe the WWE creatives have no idea about what storyline could they put Jey Uso into until he can finally join Reigns.

However, some fans believe that Jey Uso had to be pushed for the IC title so that they could prove Breakker’s attack on Zayn to be legitimate. Thus, they have to sideline the possible tag run and keep Zayn out of television programming for a while.

It surely looks like the WWE Universe wants Main Event Uso to actually be a part of one. And in order to do so, the WWE will have to set him up for a prominent push. That could be possible by his recent speculated partnership with Rhea Ripley though. So what do you think? Should Uso now get a run with Mami? Let us know in the comments.
