Is Jey Uso jumping ship to AEW the ultimate betrayal or a smart career move?

WWE is caught in the middle of a backlash and Jey Uso is the reason. The superstar on Monday Night Raw isn’t being booked for a big storyline and this has put him in the midst of this controversy stemming from a lack of creative push. While Uso himself hasn’t said anything, people, including his father, have risen in his support.

One of the most popular outcomes that anyone can find in these circumstances is seeing the talents switching promotions at their disposal. This has also led to the belief that Jey Uso may be going to AEW now.

Rikishi talked about the lack of push that the Main Event star is getting. He claimed that his son could make a lot more work elsewhere while also getting a push. According to him, the wrestler deserves to be in a bigger storyline. Since he isn’t being utilized even in The Bloodline storyline as of now, Uso could explore more options. This is when Rikishi name-dropped AEW as an option.

This sent a ripple across the IWC and they started doing their job of fantasy booking. Somebody came up with a hilarious name for the Yeet Man if he ever signs with Tony Khan’s promotion. The fan called him “Skibidi Sigma“. The two words used here are popular among people who are well-versed with meme knowledge. This name is a part of the ‘brain rot’ humor going around the internet nowadays and now Uso is caught in the middle.

This isn’t the only name that he received as part of his potential AEW move. Instead, fans focused on giving him more nicknames and moniker if he wishes to take a leave from WWE.

Jey Uso’s brand-new names might shock you

What’s your perspective on:

Is Jey Uso jumping ship to AEW the ultimate betrayal or a smart career move?

Have an interesting take?

Most of these names don’t make much sense because of the kind of humor used here by fans. But if you can read through them without trying to make much sense of things, then you will be able to enjoy a good laugh for yourself. First up, there is a fan trying to give us a new name for the younger Uso while also booking him for a match against another brain-rot-named wrestler.

Several Anoa’i wrestlers have used the ‘Fatu’ name in the end of their ring names. This happens to be a shoutout to their real-life names. Jacob Fatu is one of the most recent examples in WWE to have the Fatu name. According to this fan, if Jey enters AEW, he will utilize the family name while ‘Skibidi’ becomes a moniker in a classic AEW fashion.

While this comment in particular doesn’t add to the name joke that the post initiated, it certainly uses the same humor to announce where we might be able to see Uso the first time he is on the AEW roster.

Another reaction where the name isn’t changed at all but there is still value addition in terms of the joke. The fan tried to paint a picture of what the poster may look like if Skibidi Sigma is indeed the name Tony Khan would go for. While there are no confirmations regarding the same, the hilarious jokes make you want to see it happen in real life.

This is one of the more ‘decent’ names that the former Bloodline member received. He already calls himself ‘Uce’, which means ‘brother’ in his mother tongue. However, seeing this as a ring name could be absurd for wrestling fans.
