Main Event Jey Uso has been making a name for himself by ‘Yeeting’ anyone who gets in his way. While most of this has been towards the Judgment Day, he has been leaning hard towards Rhea Ripley. The group’s Mami has been getting Jey Uso’s attention since he moved to Monday Night RAW.

Jey Uso changes his name to match Mami Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley gained much attention when she began calling herself ‘Mami’. This was during the feud with Rey Mysterio. The Judgement Day was trying to get Dominik Mysterio to betray his father and join them. However, this soon became her title, which everyone started calling her.

While Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso feud with the Judgment Day, Jey has shown a soft spot for Ripley. This started the speculation of a love triangle between them. However, this has not been confirmed nor denied by the WWE. While the two flirt during their encounters, Jey decided to up the flirtation.

Now, with Flirtation on his mind, Main Event Jey Uso decided to give himself a title as well. Ahead of his match on Monday Night RAW against Damian Priest, Jey Uso had a new title in his name. While making his way backstage, he called himself Papi Uso.

This name is a take on Ripley calling herself Mami. While the two have tension between themselves, Ripley has been getting others to join the Judgment Day’s cause. After winning the Undisputed Tag Team belts from Rhodes and Jey, the team has been on cloud nine. Meanwhile, Rhodes and Jey want the titles back.

Jey Uso’s rise to fame on RAW

Jey Uso’s rise to fame came when he announced he was leaving SmackDown after attacking The Bloodline. This was the catalyst for his rise in popularity. When he debuted on RAW, he had a new theme song that went over with the fans and a new personality. Teaming with babyface, Cody Rhodes elevated his presence on RAW. With Sami Zayn and Rhodes behind him, he feuded with The Judgment Day.

Despite initially being recruited by the group, Jey turned it down, opting to be a babyface instead. This led to several attacks by the group on Jey, only to be thwarted by Rhodes or Zayn. The story between The Bloodline and The Judgment Day continues with Jey being in both crosshairs.
