Jey Uso has become one of WWE’s crowd-favorite babyfaces. Since turning his back on The Bloodline, the Samoan has not stopped gaining followers, generating great reactions with each of his appearances. A success that not many anticipated, when he seemed destined to remain in the tag team division.
Currently, Jey Uso is aiming for the Intercontinental Championship while also continuing his recent pairing up with Sami Zayn. The duo were part of the Bloodline together and now have decided to become the top team of Monday Night RAW. But it seems like the fun Jey is not a babyface all the time. Sometimes, he prefers letting his mischievous side take over.
That is exactly what happened in a flight that the ‘Main Event’ took, a video of which is making the rounds on the internet. In the clip, Jey Uso can be seen playing a video game with his friend on a flight, but then an attendant asks him and his friend not to lean over partitions in order to play the game. While Uso stops the game for a second to listen to what the attendant has to say, he soon decides to start playing the game again in front of her.

Well, it looks like ‘Main Event’ truly takes his game seriously. So much so that he would even ignore the plea of the attendant to continue winning his virtual match. Something that he would like to implement in real life as well since Zayn was out injured and Uso would like to exact revenge against IC champion Bron Breakker for injuring his friend.

But that does not excuse the fact that one has to follow the rules set for the general public. That includes the ‘Main Event’, as he too comes under the same category. However, it is not new for WWE superstars to break rules in a flight. In fact, there is one particular incident that truly brought the Stamford-based promotion a lot of infamy.

The WWE, in addition to carrying out its weekly programming, also does tours internationally in order to expand its product. In 2002, after some performances in Europe, wrestlers and staff of the company starred in one of the darkest episodes of the sports spectacle, The Plane Ride from Hell. On May 5, 2002, WWE athletes and workers finished an event in England and prepared to return to the United States as soon as possible.
However, due to flight delays, the fighters began drinking. According to Jim Ross in his weekly Ross Report column on wwe.com, the flight lasted 7 hours. However, those 7 hours were enough to bring major criticism to the WWE. The first altercation on the plane was between Brock Lesnar and Curt Hennig, Mr. Perfect, who took a friendly Olympic wrestling match to a fistfight, where both were about to open the emergency door. After the flight, in another matter, Ric Flair received a lawsuit from two stewardesses for harassment.

Jim Ross also detailed that Razon Ramon fell unconscious after boarding the plane due to GHB and alcohol. Finally, Olympic medalist Kurt Angle and WWE owner Vince McMahon starred in a four-hour fight, which was interrupted by The Undertaker. After landing in the United States, former wrestler Justin Credible recalled that he took Scott Hall off the plane in a wheelchair because he couldn’t stand up, and Jim Ross picked up his luggage.

Because of this, WWE announced the firing of Razon Ramon a few days later, so the wrestler had to return to rehab to overcome his addiction to alcohol and drugs. In turn, Curt Henning was released from his contract for having caused the fight with Brock Lesnar and almost endangering the lives of his teammates. So fans would be glad that Jey Uso did not do anything to such an extent. Were you aware of the plane ride from hell before you read this article? Let us know in the comments.
