Jey Uso has not yet become a part of The Bloodline storyline and it looks like he may not return to SmackDown for a while at least. This is because the person who was acting as a catalyst of change is once again on a hiatus. As for Jey Uso, he may not be engaged in an effective storyline as of now.
According to his father, the Main Event star may have a better shot elsewhere rather than staying stuck in WWE. He opined this amidst the ongoing situation in the Stamford-based company’s creative department, where Jey is not being booked for anything big.
Will Jey Uso move to AEW?

It seems like a common practice between AEW and WWE stars to switch places whenever they feel like they are not being valued by their current workspace. Jey Uso was supposed to help out Roman Reigns when he returned to the ring but that hasn’t happened yet and WWE isn’t doing anything big with his character on Raw either.
This led Rikishi to voice his opinion. “We already know the kid is so good. WWE ain’t the only spot. He can probably go to AEW if he wanted to write his own ticket. Maybe more is what WWE is making on him,” said the WWE legend.

In the end, he claims that he is just using this platform to put his thoughts forward and the wrestler that they are talking about happens to be his son. If the Yeet Man wasn’t his son, he would still support the same opinion as he is doing now.
Jey Uso seems upset with his cousin
WWE seems to be playing a long game with Jey Uso, deliberately keeping him out of the Bloodline storyline for now. With The Original Tribal Chief on another rumored hiatus, it’s possible this is why the promotion has chosen not to involve Jey right away. On a recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, fans witnessed a shocking turn of events when Roman Reigns was viciously attacked by the rest of The Rogue Bloodline in a brutal segment that closed out the show. Moments later, Jey Uso unexpectedly appeared for a dark match, raising eyebrows and stirring speculation among fans.

The surprise appearance left many wondering: if Jey Uso was backstage the whole time, why didn’t he step in to help Roman Reigns during the ambush? From a storyline perspective, the answer might lie in the unresolved tension between them. Since leaving the blue brand, Jey has had little reason to come to Roman’s aid, given their rocky history and Roman’s failure to make amends. On the flip side, the real reason could simply be that WWE isn’t ready to reintroduce Jey into the Bloodline saga just yet.
But with so much potential drama brewing, fans can’t help but wonder if WWE might change course. Could the influence of someone like Rikishi persuade the company to bring Jey back into the fold sooner rather than later? Only time will tell how WWE chooses to play this intriguing storyline.
