Jey Uso started his singles run on WWE’s Monday Night RAW after leaving he Bloodline at SummerSlam 2023. Since then, he progressively rose to popularity among the audience and established himself as one of the top stars in the red brand. Considering his current achievements, he wishes to continue his run as a singles superstar.
In an interview with the Busted Open podcast, Jey Uso talked about his plans in the WWE. The Main Event star assured that he has no plans to end his individual run right now and that The Usos have already shown themselves to be the greatest team in the company’s history. Now it’s his time to prove himself as a singles star.
However, a major criticism that the WWE often faces is that despite his popularity, the Stamford-based promotion is not booking Uso right. In fact, despite being called Main Event, he has yet to main event a PLE. But now it seems like things will change, as Uso may have a new gimmick. One that sees him being the Head of the Table.

In a recent video released on X by @TwoHeadsPodcast, Jey Uso appears before fans wearing a blue Ula Fala. For those unaware, the Ula Fala is a sacred necklace that is worn only by the Tribal Chief. However, the usual Ula Fala is red in color, unlike Uso’s who is wearing a blue one.

So does this mean that Uso is the new Tribal Chief? Well, it seems unlikely since the original Ula Fala, as we mentioned, is red. In addition, the WWE is already booking a storyline around the necklace with Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns feuding over it. However, the WWE Universe has already accepted Uso as the Tribal Chief after seeing him wear the necklace.
Fans hail the new Tribal Chief
As soon as the video hit the internet, fans were quick to share their reactions on the post. Most are ready to accept the Main Event as the new Head of the Table.

Some fans were so impressed with the new version of the Ula Fala that they couldn’t help but make puns to praise the necklace as well as the wearer.

However, one tweet that stood out was one that perfectly dissected the meaning behind the Blue necklace. As mentioned earlier, Jey Uso wants to establish himself as a singles superstar. Going out of his path of being stuck as a tag legend. So the blue Ula Fala too is a way to make him stand out from his family and make fans realize that he has his own identity now.

Following the return of Roman Reigns and the information that Jimmy would already be fit to return to action, it was speculated that Jey Uso could help his cousin and brother to face Solo Sikoa and the rest of The Bloodline. And with Roman Reigns’ recent beatdown by Jacob Fatu, it seems like it won’t be long before the Original Tribal Chief will come to ask for help from SmackDown’s Head of the Table. But when and how will the reunion happen? Only, time will tell. What do you think? Will Jey Uso join Reigns? Let us know in the comments.
