After Roman Reigns pulled some strings backstage, Jey Uso faced Kevin Owens in the main event of SmackDown. This was Uso’s first match after he surrendered and fell in line behind the Tribal Chief.
The match was dominated in parts by both Superstars and was evenly contested. However, some tactically genius moves from Uso, Heyman, and Reigns gave Uso the advantage.

Owens had a brilliant start and controlled the match going into the commercial break. After the break, Uso was in complete control of the match.
Later, we saw the special counsel, Paul Heyman, walk out and stand in Jey Uso’s corner on Reigns’ command. The ending of the match saw a perfect set up by the bloodline.
Reigns’ music distracted Owens as Uso delivered a low blow. Jey Uso then delivered the super-kick and big splash to steal the win. Uso did what his brother and head of his family table told him, establishing himself as the henchman of the Tribal Chief.

Jey Uso needs to ask Roman Reigns before he does anything
Tonight, in the first hour of SmackDown, Jey Uso learned a very important lesson. Uso and Owens were in the backstage area and both started chatting.
Owens constantly poked fun at the Uso and Reigns family situation. As Uso got a little miffed, Owens changed his words, saying he was concerned for Survivor Series as they will be teammates at the PPV.
Moments later, Uso had an interview with Kayla Braxton and was interrupted midway by Paul Heyman. The special counsel informed Uso that Reigns was looking for the former.

Uso met an unhappy Reigns. The champ told his brother that he cannot do interviews without his permission and he had to follow a chain of command. This shocked Uso as he thought this was just a normal interview.

Reigns then told Uso how insulted he felt after watching his and Owens’ backstage conversation. The Tribal Chief ordered his cousin to make Owens pay, which later happened in the main event.
