Clash of Champions saw some pretty crazy matches but no words can describe what went down between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso in the main event.
“The Big Dog” absolutely wrecked his cousin and a lot more. Instead of pinning him, he proceeded to beat down Uso until he apologized. Refusing to submit, Uso was treated to a barrage of punches by his own family member.

Remorseless, Reigns tweeted a very sadistic message on Twitter. This was clearly a statement establishing his domination once more over everyone that comes in his path.

The tweet perfectly summarises Reigns throughout the match. The Universal Champion, despite nearly being pinned by Uso on multiple occasions, was on top for the majority of the match.
Towards the end, Roman Reigns got brutal and scary. He turned the entire thing into a howler as he showed no compassion for his own blood.
Roman speared Jey Uso twice but didn’t pin him, which would have been the honorable way to go about it. He wanted to humiliate his cousins and establish his iron fist over the family.
Roman Reigns enjoyed dismantling his own cousin
Reigns made it very clear to Jey that the Championship would always come first for him. He also warned Uso of the beat down that was coming and claimed that he was doing it as the provider for the entire family.

No one expected him to go so far. In the end, Jey’s brother Jimmy had to throw in the towel to stop the match and save his brother. The entire experience was a powerful display of emotion from the two Superstars.

Roman’s manager Paul Heyman was visibly horrified at what had just happened. Perhaps, he realized that he was handling a much darker client and that Roman may not exactly be the kind of person to keep on the leash.

We are yet to see the path Roman Reigns goes down. Will we see the legendary Rikishi re-enter the ring again, or perhaps the dream WrestleMania showdown between The Rock and Roman Reigns?
The Anoa’i family has to have one protector, and Roman Reigns will destroy his own blood to ensure that he stays on the throne.
