Jeff Hardy got drafted to Friday Night SmackDown during Night One of the WWE Draft. But, he challenged Damian Priest today on Monday Night Raw for the United States Championship.
This was not the first time Hardy faced off against Priest as he was involved in a triple threat match with Preist and Sheamus at Extreme Rules PPV. Unfortunately for Hardy, he lost on both occasions. But this time, he had a message for the WWE fans after his match with Damian Priest on Monday Night Raw.
When asked about his move to SmackDown after the match, Jeff Hardy teased about debuting his alter-ego, Willow, on SmackDown.

Hardy claimed that it’s wonderful to be in front of the WWE but SmackDown will be the perfect place to see a new side of Jeff Hardy. The remark by Hardy was understood to be a reference to his alter-ego, Willow, which has entertained WWE viewers in the past.
Jeff Hardy has produced some glorious moments for the WWE fans in the past. With this hint of a debut for his alter-ego on SmackDown, fans will desperately be waiting for Hardy’s stint in SmackDown to begin.

Jeff Hardy gets attacked by Austin Theory on Raw
Soon after Jeff hinted about debuting his new character on SmackDown, Austin Theory came out to interrupt him. Austin Theory has been in the developmental brand, NXT, for quite some time.

However, the former NXT star was seen taking part in dark matches before WWE SmackDown. That was perhaps a sign that he will soon get the call up to the main roster. Eventually, he got drafted to Monday Night Raw on Night One of the WWE Draft 2021.
The former NXT star revealed he is a fan of Jeff Hardy and would like to take a selfie with him. While the two were taking the selfie, Austin Theory suddenly turned on Jeff and attacked him.

Austin Theory has been a star on NXT. But now with his switch to the red brand of WWE, it will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for him. Most of all, however, it’ll be interesting to see if the Willow graces the WWE again soon.
