But again, things turned sour as Jeff Hardy got arrested for DUI, leading to his exit from another reputed promotion. Addressing how he readily turned down a high-flying Hall of Fame offering, the one-half of the celebrated tag team noted in the Busted Open Radio, ‘‘For sure man and I when I did not at the first time it just didn’t feel right and going in there without Matt I mean I cried after that phone call. I was just saying about all the really cool moments I’ve got given the wrestling world, so proud of but then it just didn’t feel right at all and so I just I just wanted to wait for if I do this I’m definitely doing that with Matt you know to be a Hardy Boyz thing and. I just want one ring. Don’t want two rings.”
