Jeff Hardy's face paint inspired by AEW—Does this make him even more legendary in your eyes?

Jeff Hardy is a living icon and one of the most famous babyfaces in wrestling history. The wrestling legend has reached every potential height wherever he has gone through his hard work and innate charisma. Hardy recently spoke about the man who motivated him to achieve all of this and become a professional wrestler.

Jeff Hardy recently appeared on the YouTube channel Busted Open Podcast, where he discussed his iconic face paint. Hardy claimed that his face paintings are one of his most well-known trademarks and that Sting and Ultimate Warrior inspired him to pursue face coloring. Furthermore, he was just 12 years old when he fell in love with face paint. The former AEW star also admitted that he always thought it was something cool people do.

Not only that, but The Ultimate Warrior’s logic of his face paint being his war blood made it more appealing to Hardy. With these thoughts and ideas, the former WWE Champion indulged in the art form and added his own unique spin to it as he inculcated eyelids in his face paint. This factor made Hardy gain appeal faster and helped him climb the ladder of success.

In the podcast, Jeff Hardy stated, “At first, it it definitely like Sting, the Ultimate Warrior. Sting was in NWA. Ultimate Warrior was my WWE guy and the face paint, you you that’s where I’m that inspiration. And I never understood like why they did it. I would hear them say like it’s war pain or something. I was was I don’t know why they do it. I just love it. It’s so cool.”

The former WWE champion also dived deep into his inspiration for entering the world ofpro wrestling.

Sting influenced Jeff Hardy to be a professional wrestler

In the same podcast, Hardy discussed why he decided to become a professional wrestler and shared a brief narrative with his followers. He said that he was at a wrestling performance where Sting was scheduled to participate when he was just 12 years old and a new wrestling enthusiast. When Sting made his appearance, Hardy was able to touch his shoulder, which made him the happiest he could have been.

When he realized how much satisfaction he had gained by touching Sting, he resolved to become a professional wrestler. Not only that, but Hardy decided he wanted to become a major star so that when children at the time touched him, they would feel fantastic, just like he did. Currently Hardy has landed in TNA at the moment. but there is a lot of buzz about his WWE return too.
