Former WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy is looking forward to enticing a feud with CM Punk. Both wrestlers have left Vince McMahon’s company and have joined rival wrestling promotion, the All Elite Wrestling. The WWE released Jeff Hardy in December 2021, after a disagreement with the company.
Since then, it was rumored that The Hardy Boyz would reunite in Tony Khan’s AEW. Finally, Jeff Hardy made his AEW debut on the latest episode of Wednesday night Dynamite.

The 44-year-old appeared on the AEW programming to save his brother Matt Hardy from an attack by the Andrade Family Office. The wrestling fans lost their mind when they saw Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy back together in the ring.
Jeff Hardy is prepared for CM Punk again!
Back in 2009, CM Punk and Jeff Hardy engaged in one of the best feuds of their respective WWE careers. During a virtual Signed by Superstars meeting, Jeff Hardy was asked about getting in the ring with CM Punk again.
One half on The Hardy Boyz clarified that he was excited about potentially crossing paths with Punk, as they have a lot of history.
“Very excited, there’s so much history there,” Jeff Hardy stated.
The feud between the two legends tackled Jeff’s real-life alcohol issues, and CM Punk turned into a monster heel. However, it appears that Brother Nero, aka Jeff, wants to work with CM Punk again, but this time in the AEW.
When did it all start between the two?
The rivalry between Jeff Hardy and Cm Punk began at WWE Extreme Rules 2009. Hardy had defeated the Rated-R Superstar for the WWE Heavyweight Championship, making the entire arena celebrate.
However, Jeff’s celebrations were short-lived as Punk shattered Hardy’s dream by cashing in the Money In the Bank contract.
Hardy was already exhausted, and Punk put him through a double dose of GTS. CM Punk emerged victorious over Jeff at Extreme Rules 2009, which started the heat between the two.
CM Punk winning the WWE Heavyweight Championship made him a heel and Jeff a baby face. Both Superstars battled back and forth for the WWE Championship at several pay-per-views.
Best in the World had a taste of his own medicine
After a series of battles between Hardy and Punk, we saw the two encounter in a classic TLC match-up at SummerSlam 2009. This was an intense and terrifying match as Punk knocked Hardy off the top of a 20-foot ladder and grabbed the WWE Heavyweight Championship. As Punk started celebrating his victory over Jeff Hardy’s bruised body, a blackout interrupted him.
