In a recent interview, when the host asked Gunn about the potential sequel to The Suicide Squad, he immediately responded with a “no”. This shattered the expectations of John Cena fans, who were eagerly waiting to see their favorite star playing the DC Comics character, The Peacemaker.

The Suicide Squad was a huge hit among fans and critics. However, despite all the positive reviews, The Suicide Squad didn’t do very well at the box office.

It grossed around $168.7 million while the budget of the movie was a whopping $185 million. The creators blamed the failure on poor box office success rates after the pandemic.

Even though The Suicide Squad 2 is most likely off the table now, there is still good news for the fans of ‘The Cenation Leader’.
