Diamond Dallas Page’s assistance really helped Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts get back to his feet in his life. Getting inducted into the 2014 class of the WWE Hall of Fame was a stamp for him to show the world he is back. Unfortunately, even though he came over his demons, he wasn’t able to get back with his older daughter for a while.

They ultimately reconciled later, but his older daughter wasn’t ready to get together with her father initially. Recently, the WWE legend shared how his daughter made him cry by cussing him is his infamous documentary. 

Jake Roberts’ older daughter made his cry

In an interview with VLAD TV Roberts gave his thoughts on his daughter’s words in his documentary. The WWE Hall of Famer accepted those comments from her daughter hurt him.

The host asked, “I mean the fact that you managed to reconcile with your oldest daughter who really based on the documentary, she had a lot of pain. The whole f**k you daddy thing, that type and stuff. I mean I cried a little bit watching that.”

Roberts replied, “So did I, so did I.”

The DDT master was battling his personal demons at the time. Also, meanwhile, he was trying to get together all the things and relationships he lost over the years. However, this reaction from his daughter might have hurt him, but he didn’t lose hope and continued his road to once again be the best version of himself.

As time went on, it seems Roberts was successful at reconciling with his daughter. At the WWE Hall of Fame night all of his family members were present. The joy on his face was the most precious emotion anyone could see. Moreover, a few weeks ago his ex-wife Cheryl Roberts, aka Cheryl Hagood shared the news of them getting back together again.

Jake Roberts states the reason why he is sober for 11 years now

In the same interview, Roberts shared he is sober for 11 years which amazed the host. Although, the reason to get amazed was that the life the 67-year-old star lived a type of life that would have caused his death soon.

However, Roberts said, “Yeah, incredible. I think what’s kept me sober is the joy that I’m having with this fresh new life. Where everything is good, where I like me, where I like what I do I like who I’m helping. I enjoy doing signings man and listening to these people’s stories of how I affected them in their lives.”

He further added the fans and his family is the motivation that has kept him happy with his new life. Roberts is currently with AEW but hasn’t appeared for a while.
