Jade Cargill had a marquee start in her WWE journey last year in September when she penned a deal with the Stamford-based company with a fuller heart. However, the real ride started with WWE Royal Rumble 2024 when Cargill stormed through the ring as a surprise entrant and delivered a stunning performance. The company identified the immense potential in her and immediately offered a huge push. The Big Money Jade rose to the rank of the Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Bianca Belair.
Although the run was short-lived as they eventually dropped it to Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, the duo is eyeing to regain the honor at the upcoming German PLE. They even proceeded a step ahead in that path, scoring a smooth victory against Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae. The build-up event of the WWE Bash in Berlin proved to be all smooth selling for Cargill except for her choice of gear, which resulted in random booing.

In WWE, the attire of the superstars plays a huge role in setting the tone of the entire match-up. Recently Miz’s bizarre American flag suit outfit sparked huge discussion among IWC during AEW All-In. Tonight at Oberhausen, Cargill became the cynosure because of what she chose to wear. But the only difference is she only received backlash, unlike the AEW star who wanted to stir the national sentiment by chiseling out inspiration from the Rocky IV movie.
Cargill, 32, instead, wanted to receive some extra pop by wearing a Dortmund team jersey without knowing the fact that the team had anti-reputation in the Ruhr area, so booing was inevitable. A fan brought this to notice on X questioning her idiocy. “Jade Cargill wore a Dortmund Jersey for her match in Oberhausen today to get cheap babyface pops The problem is that Dortmund is hated in Oberhausen and everyone boo’d her. Who told her wearing a Dortmund Jersey in the Ruhr area that is smart???” wrote the user.

However, surpassing the flakes of negativity, Cargill issued a generous message and asked them to be a bit patient as the best is yet to come.
Jade Cargill asked fans to keep believing in her
The journey of Jade Cargill in WWE has been no less than a whirlwind of emotion. The former champion noted she was not nervous about performing in front of the WWE audience for the very first time, but it was an unfamiliar emotion altogether to face such a great magnitude of people at a time. She also extended thanks to her locker room mates for constantly lifting her spirit before stepping up to the ring and also gave a huge shout-out to Nick Khan and Triple H for allowing her to find her footing in the business.

However, when it comes to the real backbone of the superstars, the fans, Cargill asked them to keep holding their faith in her like they do, as she and Belair are constantly trying to rack the title back on their shoulders. So they need more patience and focus from the fans in the division to deliver their best. It will be interesting to see how Cargill will do on her tag team ride, despite not being accustomed to the genre.
