Is the Bloodline faction on the brink of implosion with Jacob Fatu's latest move?

It came as no surprise to the fans when The Bloodline competed for the Tag Team Championships on SmackDown and won. With Jacob Fatu on their team, the opponents didn’t stand a chance against the heel stable. However, WWE seems to be trying to dissociate him from the title lately. Ever since the victory, Fatu has hardly been seen with the belt.

The reason now seems to be clear because, on Friday Night SmackDown 08/23, The Werewolf was asked to vacate his title and instead give it to Tonga Loa, who is infamous for botching every move he is supposed to make. Fans believe this may backfire.

Jacob Fatu appears to be an individual dedicated to his wrestling family and doesn’t mind following orders from the new Tribal Chief. So, Solo Sikoa used this loyalty to rip him off his title and instead grant him the position of his personal Enforcer. This is the same post that Sikoa held in Roman Reigns‘ Bloodline before taking over.

In the segment, we saw that this championship transition from one star to the other wasn’t as smooth as one would expect. Despite the loyalty that the former GCW star showed, he seems to be upset with the fact that he had to give it up for Tonga Loa.

We have previously talked about why Loa was carrying Fatu’s championship when the latter was absent from Friday Night SmackDown. Now all of it seems to make sense since the Anoa’i wrestler has had to give it up for a job as Sikoa’s ‘full-time Enforcer’. While Solo may not be reading too much into the lines, fans can already smell what’s cooking backstage.

Is WWE planning another backstab at the hands of Jacob Fatu?

Have an interesting take?

The Bloodline saga continues to grow. Apart from the ongoing storyline, subplots also appear to keep things interesting for fans. This fan believes that Fatu getting ripped off his title is one such example of a subplot. Even though the caption on the official segment pointed towards Fatu’s loyalty, fans think that loyalty can only last so long.

The New Tribal Chief might be playing with fire that he doesn’t yet know how to handle properly. If he is not careful with how he treats his new Enforcer, things might get out of hand. And to add to everything, Jacob Fatu has the vote of confidence from fans that he may be able to take The Bloodline 2.0 alone.

There have been many crazy fan theories about the heated storyline on SmackDown. One of them suggests that ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ is a spy for Roman Reigns. The OTC is using him to infiltrate The Rogue Bloodline. So, promoting Jacob Fatu to his personal bodyguard only makes Reigns’ success more plausible.

This is another detail that somebody on the internet noticed. When Sikoa hugged Fatu, the latter didn’t hug him back, showing his shock regarding the decision. If such is the case, then another betrayal may be coming.

One more fan noticed that Jacob wasn’t happy with how his new chief asked him to hand over his title. WWE might be planning this betrayal to make it a full-circle moment that the Enforcer always tends to turn his back on the chief in The Bloodline.
