Could Jacob Fatu be the game-changer the Bloodline needs to dominate WWE once again?

Jacob Fatu suffered an injury in WWE SummerSlam, putting his position in the Bloodline dynamic at risk. The member of the new faction of The Bloodline attacked Cody Rhodes in the match for the Undisputed WWE Championship. During a spot, he threw himself on top of a table. Taking a blow that caused a leg injury. Since then, the WWE kept him off the schedule and did not make him a part of Roman Reigns’ first attack on Bloodline 2.0.

However, things changed in the latest edition of SmackDown when the Samoan Werewolf returned to brutally assault the Original Tribal Chief. Since then, everyone has been hoping that Roman Reigns will get himself some backup. The WWE Universe has earmarked a reunion of the original Bloodline to take down the rogue group. Recently, Jey Uso also teamed up with Sami Zayn.

Many fans believe that the Usos, and maybe even Zayn, will eventually reunite with Roman Reigns to battle Solo Sikoa’s new Bloodline. However, it seems like Jacob Fatu is also doing some recruitment of his own. But who is he aiming to get into the Bloodline 2.0? Well, it’s none other than Journey Fatu.

Journey Fatu recently took to Twitter to pay tribute to the late Sika and Afa Anoa’i, as Afa passed away on August 16th. He uploaded a picture of the Wild Samoans with the caption, “Rest now, we got it from here. 💯” This prompted Jacob Fatu to leave a comment on the post saying, “🙏🙏 LOVE YA USO,” To avoid any confusion, Uso is the Samoan word for ‘Brother’ and is not referring to the Usos.

However, Journey Fatu’s caption does imply his desire to make it big in the pro wrestling industry, like the late legends. And with the aforesaid comment, Jacob Fatu is getting closer to his cousin, who has been linked with the WWE for quite a while now. In fact, a WWE Hall of Famer believes that the independent wrestler is already WWE material right now.

Have an interesting take?

On the ‘Rikishi Off the Top’ podcast, Rikishi talked about the possibility of Zilla Fatu, Thamiko, Lance Anoa’i, and Journey joining the WWE. That’s when Rikishi replied that while the others might need some time to prepare, like Zilla Fatu, who still needs a year’s worth of experience under his belt, Journey Fatu is all prepped up for the Stamford-based promotion.

He said, “Thamiko can kind of be in that same category with Zilla. Lance is primed. Journey can get away with, Journey can adapt. He’s a WWE material right now. But Journey doesn’t look like the rest of us. Journey has his own look. Right? So I would think if they do decide to pick up Journey Fatu, which is Jacob’s brother… his younger brother, you know, Journey’s psychology is through the roof.” Well, it sure looks like Jacob Fatu knows it too as he tries to get a fresh addition for the Bloodline. What do you think? Will Journey be a part of the Bloodline soon? Let us know in the comments.
