Ever since his WWE debut, wrestling fans have welcomed Tama Tonga with open arms. Given his experience in the pro wrestling industry of around a decade, the wrestler isn’t ‘green’. However, Tonga hasn’t won over all the viewers, especially the ones who are veterans of the industry. Recently, a former WWE employee shared his thoughts on how The Bloodline needs more support.

This is where Jim Cornette took Jacob Fatu‘s side. Despite his pending appearance, Cornette believes Fatu has the element that the Tongan wrestler lacks.

The Bullet Club founder’s introduction to the WWE crowd took everyone by surprise. Even though his debut marked a new era for The Bloodline, with a brand new leader, Jim Cornette thinks that the stable will do better with Jacob Fatu’s inclusion.

Talking about the ex-NJPW star on The Jim Cornette Experience, Cornette first complimented his physique by saying, “Tama Tonga, he looks great physically. He’s in great shape. He looks much better than either one of the Usos.” The 62-year-old, then went onto add, “He can’t be better than Jacob Fatu in this role or capacity.

The role that Tama Tonga is currently playing in The Bloodline may be replaced by Jacob Fatu when he is cleared to return to the promotion. As of now, he has signed with the Stamford-based company but is unable to feature in either of the brands because of his prison past.

The retired wrestler confessed that he had talked to Jacob Fatu a while ago regarding the situation that he is stuck in.
