This exciting episode of WWE SmackDown came live from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont. After the Wyatt Sick, led by Uncle Howdy, attacked the WWE crew backstage on RAW, fans wanted to know if it would happen on SmackDown. This was a packed episode, with CM Punk addressing the fans about his injury, Cody Rhodes responding to The Bloodline, and much more. The show would also feature the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying matches. Here are the results for WWE SmackDown.

WWE SmackDown 21/06/2024 Results

In-ring segment: The show opened with the hometown hero CM Punk coming out to address the fans. This would be the first SmackDown after Clash at the Castle. He talked about the pressure of being in front of his hometown and not disappointing them. The Second City Saint even addressed Drew McIntyre’s decision to quit the WWE. The promo was cut short when Paul Heyman walked out. The two hugged it out, and Heyman claimed he needed help. The Wiseman claimed that Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline were coming for Punk if he didn’t leave the ring.

The Bloodline came out, and Punk called them phonies, provoking them to enter the ring. However, The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes showed up. Handing Punk a bat, the two stood tall against The Bloodline. Rhodes issued a challenge to Sikoa.

Backstage segment: Jade Cargill spoke to Bianca Belair about their rematch for the tag team titles.

Backstage segment: Randy Orton and Kevin Owens approached Rhodes regarding his match with Sikoa. Rhodes claimed that he had a plan, as he knew Sikoa would have one as well.

Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match: Bianca Belair vs. Chelsea Green vs. Mia Yim

Winner: Chelsea Green

Green was quick to get out of the ring, allowing Belair and Yim to battle it out. The brawl spilled to the outside, and both women laid each other out the best they could. Belair got the MFT on Yim, only to be tossed out of the ring by Green. Green pinned Yim for victory. Green qualified for the Money in the Bank match.

Backstage segment: Blair Davenport told Bayley she’s looking forward to her match with Naomi.

Backstage segment: Solo Sikoa confronted Paul Heyman for wanting to leave with CM Punk. Sikoa told Heyman something that was not audible to the viewers, shocking the Wiseman.

Backstage segment: Grayson Waller confronted DIY about the absence of his partner, Austin Theory. The promo was cut short when Drew McIntyre showed up with a beaten and bloodied CM Punk. McIntyre carried Punk’s body to the entrance and laid it out in front of his hometown. Before allowing the medical team to check on Punk, McIntyre removed Punk’s bracelet with AJ Lee and Larry’s names. Punk was taken off on a stretcher.

Men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match: Carmelo Hayes vs. Randy Orton vs. Tama Tonga

Winner: Carmelo Hayes

The match started off with Tonga and Orton going at it, with Hayes trying to get involved. The match was a beatdown, as every man wanted the spot in the Men’s Money in the Bank match. Tonga and Orton showed off great chemistry with their moves and counters. Hayes displayed his excellent agility in the ring. While Orton had the upper hand, Tonga Loa came out, but Kevin Owens kept him busy. Hayes took advantage and pinned Orton for the win.

In-ring segment: LA Knight came out to call out Logan Paul. Paul was a no-show, but Santos Escobar came out and confronted Knight. The confrontation gets heated, and Knight hits the BFT on Escobar. While Knight took a breath, Paul attacked him and laid him out.

Men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match: Andrade el Idolo vs. Grayson Waller vs. Kevin Owens

Winner: Andrade el Idolo

Before the match started, The Bloodline attacked Kevin Owens as he made his way to the ring. Orton came out to assist Owens, and the match got underway. Despite being hurt, Owens held his own against Andrade and Waller. After hitting Andrade with a pop-up powerbomb and a Stunner, Waller pushed Owens for the pin but was unlucky. Andrade hit the Message and pinned Waller for the win. Andrade qualified for the Money in the Bank match.

Main Event: Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa

Winner: Match ended in disqualification

The match started out with Rhodes going after Sikoa with everything he had. However, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa quickly interrupted the match, ending it. They attacked Rhodes and set him up for the Samoan Spike. Taking out the Tongas, the three set their sight on Sikoa. However, Sikoa had a trick up his sleeve as Jacob Fatu debuted and took out every man. He hit a frog splash on Cody Rhodes through the announce table.
