Iyo Sky is currently in Japan, participating in a monumental wrestling event against Utami Hayashishita in Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Destination 2024. The fight between the two of them was fantastic because both superstars brought out the best in each other and made sure that there were plenty of areas in the match that surprised spectators.

The bout was a huge success, and it appears that one of the highlights was Iyo Sky’s usage of a Tombstone Piledriver in the match. This was startling because this was The Undertaker’s finisher, and, except for Kane, no one else has accomplished this feat it in their contests. Furthermore, this technique was performed by Sky in front of a large crowd after a long absence. On the matter, Iyo Sky said, Today, I fought not as WWE superstar IYO SKY, but in a Japanese style. In order to beat her (Hayashishita), I had no choice but to use the tombstone before the finish. I think it was her power that brought out moves that I don’t use in WWE.”

When asked why she used this move approach in the post-show conference, she gave a surprise perspective. Iyo Sky remarked that she is not a WWE superstar in this bout and that she preferred to compete in her Japanese style because there are no laws prohibiting the use of other signature techniques here. Her comments were rather brazen, and thus could have come as a surprise for many!

Iyo Sky’s babyface turn in WWE may be going to occur pretty soon

As you are aware, Iyo Sky, the former WWE Women’s Champion, has been a heel for quite some time now, as she continues to manage the group with which she has long been acquainted with, Damage CTRL. She has accomplished a lot in her career since then, but it appears that since losing her WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40, she has lost a lot of momentum.

Furthermore, she has slid further down the card and is presently doing nothing on the WWE main roster. A new character is badly required for her, and it appears that this character shift will happen soon, as some fans have speculated that Iyo Sky would turn face, followed by a strong push. Maybe WWE will pull the trigger on this move sooner rather than later.
