

The world of pop culture suffered a tragic loss after American freestyle hip-hop dancer and TV personality Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss passed away on December 14 at age 40. The news shook the fans and celebrities alike and many poured in their support for his family. Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson was among a plethora of celebrities who offered their condolences and paid tributes to the popular star.

Stephen Boss rose to fame after his brilliant performances in the dance reality show So You Think You Can Dance. He then starred in a few Hollywood movies as well before beginning a long stint on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. After his sudden demise, the former WWE Champion The Rock led a string of emotional tributes to the famed dancer.
Dwayne Johnson posts an emotional tribute to Stephen Boss
As the news of Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss’ untimely death broke out, celebrities from all walks of life shared their memories of Stephen ‘tWitch’ and paid glowing tributes to him. Dwayne Johnson also posted an emotional message on his Twitter and showed support for his family.
People know Johnson for the compassion and sympathy he has displayed quite often. Here again, he led the tributes to Boss on social media.
The Rock tweeted, “Man I am so sorry to hear the heartbreaking news about Twitch. Great guy. Sending his family all the love, light, strength and mana.”

Apart from The ‘Great One’ other celebrities such as Jennifer Hudson, JoJo Siwa, QuestLove, and many others posted photos of Boss and paid heartfelt tributes to the late star.
TV personality Ellen DeGeneres also offered her condolences while recalling their time on her popular show. Boss joined The Ellen DeGeneres show in 2014 as a guest DJ and became a regular over the years. He even began working as a co-executive producer on the show in 2020.

In her statement, she said, “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us.” She asked for privacy during this difficult time for her family while adding “Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.”

Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss who broke out as a contestant on MTV’s The Wade Robson Project as a runner-up also starred in movie franchises like Step Up and Stomp the Yard. He is survived by his wife Allison and their three children.
