“It’s Very High School” – Chris Benoit Once Exposed a Former Female Star in Front of the WWE Locker Room for Flirting With Him

Chris Benoit was a pro wrestler loved by a lot of fans. He wrestled for various promotions across the world during his vast career. However, his most notable work comes from the tenure he served in WWE. Although there can be little doubt over Benoit’s performance inside the ring, his remarkable career didn’t come separated from the problems that he had to face away from the ring at times.

For starters, Benoit joined WWE pretty late. Although he was great in the ring, WWE did not use him up to his potential. But apart from that there was not much fuss about his antics outside the ring, apart from this one particular incident.

Chris Benoit accused a female WWE star of flirting with him

Paul London, a former WWE star, recalled the incident involving Benoit and another former WWE talent. London revealed Benoit accused a female star of flirting with him. Although it could have been a likely scenario, a lot of people were struck by the suddenness of the event.

This led to both Benoit and the female star appearing in the WWE’s notorious wrestlers’ court led by The Undertaker. The incident took place while WWE was on tour in Australia. He recalled hearing Benoit’s side of the story, leaving him in disbelief. Benoit claimed that Melina, a WWE diva, hit on him while they were in the gym together. She came up to him and confessed how comforted and ‘peaceful’ she feels around him.

Although London never meant to turn down the claim, he recalled being in a mental state in which all he could think was “this is all bullsh*t” implying the incident may have been overplayed.

Further, London recalls all of Melina’s friends and co-workers turned on her which wasn’t a great sight to see. According to the former WWE wrestler, this was particularly because of the pressure of the whole roster being in a place and for the fear of being singled out.

“It’s very high school. At least it was. But that is the only thing I remember about that rumor and I don’t know that anything ever came out of that,” said London upon recollecting the memory of the incident.
