As the holiday season rolls in, it might be the season of returns at WWE. While fans witnessed the returns of CM Punk and Randy Orton at the 2023 Survivor Series, it is time for them to prepare for another possible return. Amidst the rumors that former WWE Universal Champion Adam Scherr a.k.a Braun Strowman might return to the company, The Monster of all Monsters might have dropped a hint himself.
Is Braun Strowman returning to WWE?
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Strowman shared a mirror selfie with his fans as he stood in front of what looks like a squat rack. The 40-year-old WWE star wrote the caption, “Where it’s all started!!!! So it’s only fitting to come home!!” Now what is interesting to note is that this caption might go in two ways. First the “home” he is referring to could be his old stomping grounds at the WWE. Another interpretation could be he is now able to carry on his former hobby.

Fans of the WWE star know that he is not just a powerhouse in the ring, but outside too. Strowman is also known to be a former strongman. However, he took a break from WWE and training in general, following his neck injury early on in 2023. According to reports, he underwent surgery for damage to his C4 and C5 cervical vertebrae. Strowman is notably known for being a part of a supernatural heel stable The Wyatt Family.
After a successful career as a Strongman, Scherr made his way to WWE back in 2013. After being in development for almost 2 years, he made his main roster debut at Raw in August 2015 under the same Braun Strowman. He was the fourth and the newest member of the Wyatt Family. For almost a year, he battled alongside Bray Wyatt and others at various weekly shows and PLEs. In the summer of 2016, his fellow stablemates, Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan were drafted to SmackDown while Strowman was left at the WWE Raw. This marked the beginning of his singles career at WWE.

During this time, he has been crowned a one-time Universal Champion, one-time Intercontinental Champion, and two-time Raw Tag Team Champion. Following his championship reigns, he took time off from WWE and made his way to Ring of Honor. After winning multiple accolades there, he returned to WWE in September of 2022 as a part of the SmackDown roster.
