The latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown saw a new turn in the relationship between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. The fans got to witness the reunion of former friends. It was an emotional moment for the entire WWE Universe as they finally got to see the two superstars on the same page after so long.

The duo of The Prizefighter and The Underdog from the Underground have become hot favorites in WWE. Everyone is talking about the epic reunion. Even the former WWE superstar, who now holds a legend status in the company, can’t stop talking about it.

The reunion of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn reduced Mark Henry to tears

While speaking on the latest episode of the Busted Open podcast, Henry stated that Owens hugging Zayn was one of the very few ” feel-good moments” of WWE. He said that this week’s SmackDown episode, featuring the soul-touching hug of the two superstars, closed off like a “Disney finish.”

The former ECW Champion added he even shed a tear while watching the reconciliation of the two former friends. He also praised the two stars for pulling out the outstanding segment on the show and putting all the weight into their story.

According to Henry, in the pro wrestling world there is a lot of fighting and clashing between two wrestlers, but the way KO and the red-headed star sold their story to the audience is commendable. Henry said they were able to build the audience’s emotions with the “skill” and “art” they possess.

“It was a heartfelt moment, and it is hard to create because it is wrestling better because it’s all big boots people hitting each other and to be able to get that emotion like that,” the former WWE star said.

Well, Henry was not the only one who felt emotional after the Owens-Zayn segment on SmackDown this week.

The WWE Universe was praying for Owens and Zayn to rekindle their friendship after the latter cut ties with The Bloodline. For so long, the former Honorary Uce tried to pacify KO’s anger, which had built because of the former’s Survivor Series WarGames betrayal.
