Main Event Jey Uso posted a story on his Instagram story a message for his fans that his “Yeet” catchphrase is back. In the story posted Jey Uso could be seen wearing a white vest with the catchphrase ‘Yeet’ printed on it as he walks down the ramp. The text for the clip reads, “It’s back” indicating the return despite the legal issues.

Jey Uso began using a catchphrase that gained popularity among fans recently. However, it has come to light that Kasey Huffman, a pro-wrestler from West Virginia, has held the trademark for the word “Yeet” since 2021.

This ownership could potentially lead to legal issues for Uso due to his ongoing use of the word. Although the matter can be settled in a civil court it may result in a loss of a huge sum of money amounting up to $2 million. It may also contain jail time if the matter goes towards a federal court.

Hence, WWE started avoiding the usage of the catchphrase to avoid any legal troubles. It was evident during the episode of RAW on 4th December when WWE blurred Jey Uso’s white vest which had the word Yeet.
