It is no secret that Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the most hot-headed wrestlers WWE has ever seen. The stories surrounding him are a testimony to this fact. His ‘macho-man’ image in WWE has been stuck in the heads of an entire generation of kids and young adults. Back in 2002, Austin famously walked out of a match-up with Brock Lesnar, which was scheduled by The Rock’s friend Brian Gewirtz.
Reminiscing about it, Gewirtz said, “I think everything, my part included, if I didn’t know any better, when Steve gave an interview at the time to WWF Magazine and said, ‘I don’t need some kid straight out of sitcom school handing me a piece of paper.’ I kind of deduced that he might have been talking about myself at that time.”
Austin refused to attend the match and walked out as he did not wish to be a medium of making somebody else the ‘Next Big Thing’.

Gewirtz himself did not exactly want the same as he is a big fan of ‘The Texas Rattlesnake’ himself. “In my apartment in L.A. I had a…Like any cool 26-year-old living in L.A. would have, I had an inflatable Stone Cold Steve Austin bobbing,” he said.
