Years back, In an interview with “The New York Times”, Dwayne Johnson talked about his first-ever acting audition and his first break. He also put light on his teenage life and mentioned the time when he used to be a troublemaker. And how being a student-athlete helped him to get out of that phase.

During the interview, Dwayne said, “I do believe that there’s a great benefit in playing football at that level…….college prepares you for life but when you have the added element of being a student-athlete that requires a great deal of responsibilities and capacity……. And it’s a lot of pressure…. certainly, by comparison…you know… it’s not like you are a soldier and I am lucky that I have some family members who are incredible soldiers too. So, I think that football or certainly the military will prepare you for life.”

During his high-school years, Dwayne struggled a lot, which made him step inside the world of petty crimes. He also had to go to jail several times for the same. However, his high-school football coach saw the potential in him and asked him to join the school’s football team. And that was the moment when his life started to change.
Dwayne Johnson has set several benchmarks when it comes to both sports and Hollywood. Not only this, but he also turned out as a very humble and down-to-earth person.
Now Dwayne helps several terminally ill children through his Dwayne Johnson Rock Foundation. He has also worked with the “Make-a-Wish” foundation, being a WWE superstar.
