Just a few hours ago, the AEW and NJPW pay-per-view, the Forbidden Door aired with full enthusiasm. Fans were getting the amazing matches they expected. But apart from this, one thing that fans didn’t expect also happened and received a huge pop in return.
Okada vs. Danielson, one of the most awaited matches, was about to start when the AEW President Tony Khan pulled a gift from his bag exclusively for the fans. After the Forbidden Door pay-per-view, AEW President Tony Khan sat down and answered some of the media questions. During that, a reporter asked Khan about Bryan Danielson’s entry with the ‘Final Countdown’. Khan was also asked if the company will keep using it or not.
To this, Khan immediately replied that even though he was very excited about the ‘Final Countdown’, still it is something that he can do just for one event as the song is quite expensive. The AEW President also gave a hint of its price when he compared the cost to a wrestler’s contract.
Talking to the reporters, Tony Khan said, “So I was very excited about the final countdown. But, it was also a kind of thing that I’d been only able to get on a one-show contract. And, it was very expensive one night. It was as expensive as a wrestler’s contract. But, it was worth it.“

But if we go with Khan’s words then, it is pretty much clear that they will not see Bryan Danielson entering the ring with the ‘Final Countdown’ for a while now. But keeping the huge pop in mind, it won’t be a surprise, if Tony Khan changes his mind and decide to bring back the 90s hit once again.
