“It Was Very Disrespectful”: John Cena Hammered and Denounced for Taking Unfair Advantage of 33-Year-Old Star’s Vulnerable Situation

John Cena is arguably one of the biggest superstars to have laced a pair of wrestling boots. Almost all of the WWE’s current roster looks up to the pro wrestling legend for inspiration. However, a 33-year-old WWE star, who made his debut on the main roster in May, isn’t one among Cena’s growing legion of fans.

Grayson Waller isn’t too pleased with John Cena’s aggression

John Cena surprised the crowd at the O2 Arena in London by dropping in to have an interaction during the recently concluded Money In The Bank PLE. The 46-year-old was, however, interrupted by Grayson Waller. The Australian didn’t seem too impressed with Cena’s idea of hosting WrestleMania in London and suggested his home country as an alternate venue.

The two stars had a fallout and it ended with Waller hitting Cena. The WWE icon was able to bounce back and hit Waller with his signature Attitude Adjustment move. Waller has now addressed Cena’s aggression as exploitative in nature.

“He goes and attacks a man who is barely recovered from a broken leg. Everyone talking about ‘John Cena is a nice guy’, he attacked a still-injured man. I don’t know, I thought it was very disrespectful and I know I will be seeing John Cena again one day,” the SmackDown star told the host on WWE’s The Bump show.

The winner of the inaugural Iron Survivor Challenge also took shots at Cena’s recent struggles in WWE. Cena has been on a losing streak recently, feuding with current WWE United States Champion Austin Theory. Waller also had a suggestion to fix Cena’s form!

Grayson Waller knows how John Cena can get his mojo back

Grayson Waller may be struggling to keep up with the old boys- he got the AA from Cena, and lost his debut match after catching a spear from Edge– but there’s no shortage of confidence from the rising star. During his recent chat, he offered to fix the legend’s growing losing streak.

The Aussie reckoned that Cena’s appearance on The Grayson Waller Effect- his on-stage show- can solve the issue. “I would have John Cena on the show and I think it is something he needs,” Waller said.

“I know he’s got The Peacemaker season or whatever he is doing, but when it comes to WWE, what has he done lately besides lose? I think he kind of needs someone like Grayson Waller to bring him back, give him some of his mojo back,” he added.

On the other hand, Waller was smoked by another WWE icon after he tried to insult him. Dwayne The Rock Johnson took on Waller on Twitter after the latter made fun of the attire that he donned in his debut match.

Overall, while Waller might be on the receiving end of things from his senior peers, he surely has the WWE Universe hooked with his antics. Only time will reveal if he manages to keep up and walk the talk.
