“It Was Pretty Tense”: Millionaire Filmmaker Once Narrated the Heartbreaking Sight of Dwayne Johnson’s Most Upsetting Moment

A happily married father of three, Dwayne Johnson, is a prime example of a family man. He never fails to find time for playing with his younger daughters or visiting his eldest one at WWE Performance Center.

Johnson was previously married to his current business partner, Dany Garcia, from 1997 to 2008 until they got divorced. The Rock tied the knot with Lauren Hashian in 2019, whom he had dated after his separation from Garcia. His eldest daughter Simone is from his first marriage, and he has two young daughters with Hashian. While Simone Johnson is training to be a pro wrestler, his little ones are only in their pre-school age.

Director Rawson Marshall Thurber, who directed Johnson in Central Intelligence, Skyscraper, and later in Red Notice, once opened up to the ‘Rolling Stones’ about Dwayne Johnson, and revealed various minute details about him. When asked what it was like working with him, Thurber heaped high praise on the WWE legend.

He recollected one incident where, due to some miscommunication, Johnson had to miss out on some of his plans. Thurber said working with Johnson was a pleasure, and it was only once that he saw him get upset. He said, “there was a miscommunication about when he would be done shooting, and he wasn’t gonna be able to get on his flight to go see his little one.” The filmmaker revealed it was the most upset he had seen Johnson but also commended the way he handled it.

Thurber continued, “It was pretty tense. He’s a big guy – everyone was staring at their shoes. But what he didn’t do was say ‘screw it’ and storm off, or sit in his trailer and have his people make a fuss. He’s a giant movie star—he could just walk out. “

 The director replied that despite being such a huge star; he did not throw a tantrum, instead he called everyone and set, and wanted to figure out something, and that moment made Thurber earn a lot of respect for Johnson.

He started as a football player and then became a WWE Superstar. Soon after a successful career in WWE, he is now one of the top actors in the world.

Speaking on CBS, Johnson revealed his favorite role. He revealed his favorite role is to be a father to his three daughters. Johnson even pulled himself out of the Presidential election after he stated he wanted to spend more time with his daughters.
