Eric Bischoff talking about Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage’s relationship
When asked about the relationship between two of his biggest stars in nWo, Bischoff remarked, “They [Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage] were tight, they had the most. They had such a weird relationship., they could be just best friends in one moment in time and then just. And it was because of Randy, Hulk was pretty consistent.”
“People who don’t know Hulk Hogan, that never really worked with Hulk Hogan, that only know of him because of reputation and because of narrative by guys like Dave Meltzer and others. He’s a pretty easy cat to get along with, he’s a very easy-going guy.”

Further, Bischoff added, “One minute they’d be thick as thieves the next minute they’d be at each other’s throats. Usually, it was Randy. But at this point, we’d all fly together… Oftentimes I’d go down and hang out and Hulk’s on the weekend or if I had business to do with Hulk I’d go down there for three to four days and usually stay in Hulk’s house and Randy was there, all the time. They worked out together, they trained together. We ate sushi together, drank beer together. So they were very friendly at this point in time.”
