When Cody left the WWE, many believed that he did not have what it took to become a main event star. However, Rhodes proved everyone wrong and returned as The American Nightmare at WrestleMania 38.
And, just like the WWE Universe, former World Champion Booker T also enjoyed Vince McMahon’s ultimate move.
What did Booker T feel about Cody Rhodes’ entrance at WrestleMania 38?
During the latest episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T revealed that Cody Rhodes will direct the WWE in a different yet positive direction. The former World Champion had high praises for Cody Rhodes’ entrance at WrestleMania 38.
Booker mentioned, “I liked the intro too, the slow rise; it was really, really cool. The cinematic production, it felt big; it felt like a superstar was walking out of the curtain. I think that’s the difference with Cody Rhodes now, being back in the WWE.”
The WWE Hall of Famer was intrigued by the cinematic production of Rhodes’ entrance at the AT&T Stadium. Booker T believes it made ‘Dashing’ Cody look like a superstar as the Texas crowd went insane when The American Nightmare music popped.

When Cody last performed at WrestleMania, it was at the same AT&T Stadium. Then, however, he wrestled under the ‘Stardust’ gimmick. But, when The American Nightmare rose in Texas this year, indeed, everyone had goosebumps.
Why does the WWE Hall of Famer feel that The American Nightmare can be a pioneer?
The six-time World Champion Booker T praised Seth “Freakin” Rollins and Cody. He claimed that The Drip King and The American Nightmare battled in a professional wrestling match at WrestleMania.
“It reminded me of what wrestling is; it really did,” Booker T said.
The WWE Hall of Famer believes that Rhodes and Rollins had the performance of their life at The Most Stupendous WrestleMania.
“When I saw Cody and Seth go out and do it, it was nothing but two guys going out there simulating life,” Booker T added.
According to Booker, what Cody and Seth portrayed at WrestleMania is what wrestling is all about. Professional wrestling is when two men go back and forth throughout.
