After becoming the belle of the ball in Hollywood and successfully running two businesses and his production company, Johnson has achieved it all. Even as we speak, his newest movie, and the one which is projected to make a ton of money, Black Adam, is very close to its official release. But just like everything else in his life, Johnson also has a transparent relationship with success.
Dwayne Johnson reveals his definition of success during the Black Adam interview
In his recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, the interviewer asked Dwayne Johnson about his definition of success, and The Rock said, “I define success as having a positive influence on people, and in the world of entertainment that is a small sector. But it can be very influential. My goal in the terms of the things that I do on this side of the entertainment and some other businesses that I’ve started is, the number one anchoring element is to always make sure that people walk away feeling good.”
“That’s important. Walk out of the theaters feeling good. If they’re watching it at home, they feel good when the credits are rolling. If there’s a product that I’ve created and I deliver, they feel good about that too as well. So, I define success as how it makes people feel and I also define success as raising some good babies if you’re fortunate enough to have some kids.”

While The Rock talks about his businesses often, talking about the effect it has on people is something no actor explicitly tells his audience. Johnson also made a note of telling how important parenting has been in his life and holds that as a measure of success. This goes hand in hand with his recent decision to step back from running for President anytime soon. You can read about that here.
