Is WWE Confirming a CM Punk’s feud with Roman Reigns as the former gets announced for WWE SmackDown 15/8

Roman Reigns is advertised for the December 15 edition of Friday Night SmackDown while CM Punk will be present at the December 8 episode of the blue brand. Though the dates don’t coincide, there is still a chance that WWE might build a rivalry between the two stars in the upcoming weeks since Reigns is scheduled for couple of more appearances.

Reigns and Punk are two of the hottest draws in WWE right now, so pitching them against each other would bring plenty of eyes to the promotion. So will WWE execute this brilliant plan and start a feud between the two stars?

Will CM Punk call out Roman Reigns next week on SmackDown?

Punk is unpredictable, and no one knows what’s going on in his mind. He isn’t afraid to challenge anyone so there is a chance that he might call out ‘the Tribal Chief’ since the latter is holding a prestigious title on his shoulder. Punk might want to get a shot at the biggest prize in WWE, which means he might challenge Reigns on SmackDown next week.

Since Reigns is not appearing before Dec 15, it is possible that Paul Heyman might answer Punk’s call. Punk and Heyman have a lot of history together. So it will be interesting to see how everything pans out if it happens. Only time will tell  if Reigns and Punk will clash or not, but as of today, Reigns has much bigger problem to deal with.

Among the long list of wrestlers that The Bloodline have wronged, Randy Orton is a prominent name. Last year the heel faction attacked him, causing him to spend 18-months out of action. But now ‘The Viper’ has returned and he is looking for retribution.

Orton was free agent untill today. On tonight’s blue brand episode, he made his choice and chose to be a part of SmackDown. This way he could easily exact his revenge on The Bloodline and Reigns as they are also a part of the blue brand.

In the main event segment og the night, Orton finalised his decision after an attack from The Bloodline. With the help of LA Knight, he fought off Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa, and then warned Heyman and his Tribal Cheif.
