Brock Lesnar became the one behind 21-1; 21 WrestleMania matches unbeaten to finally fall. But Undertaker could not have handled it better. He came out stronger to continue his career and establish himself still worthy as a top contender.

“I’m only working a few times a year, so what I think happened was only working that one time a year, I think it finally caught up with me. And most guys, unlike Brock Lesnar, aren’t able to throw me around like that. It was nothing that Brock did. It was, I just don’t think my body was used to the trauma.”

Undertaker claims that he doesn’t remember the match with Lesnar, as he got hurt that bad. Taker was not in his prime against Lesnar, but he still put up a show. He did need to take time off to get things together, but now, here he is.

Undertaker on getting back his confidence

It took a while for me to really get that confidence back. And I tell ya, someone that has really helped me with it was Triple H. It was a real struggle for me to get back to feeling like I was in charge and knew like I belonged in the ring,” he said.

Undertaker returned in the next WrestleMania to face Bray Wyatt. At WrestleMania 31, Taker pinned Wyatt after delivering his signature finisher. Post that, he has had many other matches with WWE superstars as he continued his stint.

He gives dear friend Triple H credit for bringing him back. Triple H helped Taker to feel like he belonged in the WWE and the hearts of millions of fans. The WWE universe still wants to see more of Taker, and hopefully, he will stick around.
