CM Punk’s monumental return has blown away the entire WWE Universe except for one massive star. Needless to mention who we are talking about? Seth Freakin Rollins kept no secret about his intense hatred toward Punk. It has been made the talk of town due to Rollins’ abhorrent antics during Punk’s return at Survivor Series. Nevertheless, it seems like not only The Visionary but his rival, Drew McIntyre, wasn’t pleased with Punk’s homecoming either.

The Scottish Warrior made a staggering entry and addressed the fans. Quickly shifting his attention from the crowd, he referred to CM Punk’s first red brand appearance and the groundbreaking response he garnered from all across the globe.

Brutally downplaying the emotion of the fans, The Scotsman noted how individuals who are labeled as liars, hypocrites, or cowards often get fired, quit, or walk out of the company, and then again return to the lore. Moreover, he lambasted the people who are silly enough to forgive them for their past actions. It was pretty evident who was the subject of his verbal attack.

That said, as soon as Mclntyre realized that fans would vociferously defend CM Punk by chanting his name, he cunningly escaped. The Scotsman said, that it could be anyone that he was talking about.

That Raw episode wasn’t the only episode where we saw a portrayal of Drew McIntyre’s stance on Punk. The 38-year-old labeled Punk as a controversial star before his return. But is there any real-life heat involved behind this unexplained hatred?

Well, it seems that WWE purposely made Mclntyre go against the popular figures and tear them apart to create a dissenting viewpoint. If one closely looks at all his recent antics, he will very well understand the pattern that the Scottish star followed so on as part of his storyline.
