“Is There No One Else?” – Sheamus Issues Yet Another Open Challenge After WWE Raw Humiliation

WrestleMania was a delightful event for Sheamus as he won the United States Championship from Riddle. He continued his dominance last week when he brutalized Humberto Carrillo, the man who answered his open challenge. However this week on Raw, Humberto got retribution on the ‘Celtic Warrior.’

Sheamus fires back after being attacked on Raw

The infuriated United States Champion, broke his silence on Humberto’s attack on him this week on Raw. The ‘Celtic Warrior’ tweeted a strong warning to Humberto Carrillo. Interestingly, without namedropping him! How do we know? Well, the jersey pulling reference is a flashback from what we saw this week.

This week on Raw, Sheamus stood in the ring and explained his actions from last week. The current US Champion explained he attacked Carrillo before the match because he isn’t on the same level as him. He then revealed he’d issue another open challenge, but before anyone could answer, Humberto came out furiously.

The Mexican Superstar jumped on Sheamus’ back and pulled the jacket over his head. To add more to the misery, he dropped the ‘Irish Fella’ outside the ring. To top it all, he sent Sheamus flying over the announce table with a suicide dive!

We’re pretty sure this is just the beginning of a fresh feud for the United States Championship. However, there is one problem. Carrillo has been off WWE programming for so many weeks now, that no one seems to care much. Most fans believe this is only a filler feud.

If WWE is genuinely behind pushing Humberto, then we could a legit rivalry blossom between him and Sheamus. If not, the fan belief would stand correct. Although we’d wait for a couple of weeks more to see how this pans out.

Humberto has really worked hard on his physique and it shows. He’s gone from being a 205 Live Cruiserweight to a ripped Heavyweight contender. He needs to back this look and physique with some character. And how will he show his character? You’re right, with some good promos!
