Cody Rhodes might have dropped a significant hint at his possible future in WWE. The reason why this is an interesting moment for fans is because of the current storyline he is involved in. Rhodes’ dispute with Roman Reigns has seemingly turned silent following his lost WrestleMania 39 match. However, speculations and rumors have been suggesting that the feud is far from over.

It looks like The American Nightmare’s latest tweet has added some fuel to the burning fire of speculations. This is because of how the wrestler has confirmed his presence in the upcoming WrestleMania that will take place in 2024.

The storyline started with Rhodes entering a dispute with The Tribal Chief on their road to WrestleMania 39. The former AEW superstar seemed confident as he went on to butt heads with Roman Reigns for his championship. However, Reigns retained his title in a controversial fashion at WrestleMania. Even though both opponents continued other storylines following the incident, WWE legends suggested that this was not the end for them.

According to a few former wrestlers, WWE is playing their cards where it looks like the storyline is done for, but it isn’t. They believed that Cody Rhodes would have to work and build up to that moment where he ‘earns’ to stand victorious atop Reigns. And it turns out, their words might be coming true after all.

Through a recent tweet, Rhodes displayed that he will be appearing at WrestleMania 40.

In the tweet, we can see the 38-year-old promoting the registration for WrestleMania 40. The poster suggests that both of Rhodes’ former opponents would be there at the event. Since he has already concluded his feud with Brock Lesnar, Rhodes is likely to after Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal championship.

Along with the promotional poster, Rhodes wrote for his fans, “Next Friday [Wrestle Mania] tix go on sale! I plan to be in Philly for the onsale myself.

One possible hurdle in Rhodes’ journey to defeat Roman Reigns would have been another wrestler pinning him. For the most part, Rhodes believed it to be Jey Uso. In his documentary, Rhodes even reacted to the possibility of Uso pinning his cousin to become The Tribal Chief himself.

However, following SummerSlam 2023, that part might be out of the way, leaving Cody Rhodes with an open opportunity to defeat Reigns for the title.
