Dwayne Johnson’s insane bench press record
The Rock’s physique says that he is packing a good amount of strength under his muscular body. However, when Emily Blunt narrated an interesting question during their Wired interview, even the actress was curious. The most Googled question read, “What can Dwayne Johnson bench?” After reading the question out loud, the Hollywood lady herself was curious about it. But she was left stunned when the WWE legend answered it.

Dwayne Johnson answered, “I don’t count. 400-500 pounds? Whatever.” Staring at him in disbelief, Blunt asked again, “Is that for real?” DJ hilariously replied to her by saying, “Whatever.” To make sure that she is not misunderstanding the claim, the 40-year-old star confirmed what a bench press is by imitating the back-and-forth motion of arms. To make fun of her, The Brahma Bull confirmed, “Yes. I don’t know what that was, what you just did, but…”
The two then went on to have a good laugh about Emily’s silly hand motion, overlooking the fact that DJ lifts an insanely heavy amount.
If you’re aware of DJ’s fitness policy, you might know that he doesn’t promote heavy lifting. Then, what exactly is he promoting? And why is he lifting heavy on his own?

Dwayne Johnson dislikes heavy lifting
The Brahma Bull has always considered the gym to be his escape. So, loading himself with heavy weights is not going to do a fantastic job at that. Instead, he likes to use lighter weights with a full range of motion and no breaks between sets. However, since Johnson bench presses 400 to 500 pounds, this means he considers this weight to be lighter than his maximum capacity.
So, what seemed to be a shocking revelation turns more shocking when you know what Johnson tends to do at the gym. This directly tells us that Johnson is probably even stronger than what he currently benches.
