Roman Reigns has done a lot for the WWE. The biggest being the creation of The Bloodline. However, there were some byproducts for this as well. The first was an incredible story, including The Usos, Sami Zayn, and Solo Sikoa. Now, in his absence, Sikoa has taken that story forward. Another big gift from Reigns was Bloodline Rules, a new match stipulation.

This was first seen during WrestleMania 40 against Cody Rhodes. This stipulation allows every member of the Bloodline to participate in the match with no disqualifications. On the most recent episode of SmackDown, Rhodes accepted Sikoa’s challenge to have their SummerSlam match for the title under this stipulation.

The question on everyone’s mind is, will this be the same as the one at Mania 40? The simple answer will be yes. As nothing has been mentioned, we believe The Bloodline 2.0 will be at ringside to aid Sikoa during the match. While Rhodes can use anything to defend himself, the numbers game will be in Sikoa’s favor.

Fans have speculated that Kevin Owens and Randy Orton could show up to help Rhodes. However, both men were easily taken out by The Bloodline 2.0, and this would be no different. The real game changer for the match would be a returning Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso.

Since the match is scheduled for the main event, SummerSlam could close with Reigns standing tall over Sikoa, with Rhodes still retaining the title. Moreover, there is the case of Dwayne Johnson also being free around the same time. Johnson has wrapped up his movie schedule and is available.

Will Roman Reigns or Dwayne Johnson end SummerSlam?

Both men have a beef with Rhodes, and both want the WWE Undisputed title. However, the two also have issues with one another. This year’s Mania was slated to see Johnson face Reigns, and speculation has it that the match has been penned for Mania 41. At this point, fans are hoping that either one of the two show up to close out SummerSlam, but the WWE could pull a massive swerve by bringing them both back.

While Reigns wants The Bloodline back in his control since he is the OG Tribal Chief, Johnson wants the moniker and title. Since his return on the Day #1 episode of RAW, The Rock made it clear he was eyeing the Head of the Table. This feud is set to last a few months before the big blowout at Mania 41. Only time will tell if the WWE decides to bring either man back at SummerSlam or let The Bloodline 2.0 cook for a while more.
