WWE surprised the entire world when Vince McMahon decided to open the ‘forbidden door’ of wrestling. Recently, at the women’s Royal Rumble match when the Impact Knockout’s Champion Mickie James appeared at the Rumble. However, with James’ return, things are getting interesting for Sasha Banks.

Yes, although it was for one night only, the WWE Universe felt good seeing the five-time WWE Women’s Champion back inside a WWE ring. It was not just Mickie who came to WWE, there were multiple female legends who came back.

However, seeing the recent tweet from the former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, ‘The Legit Boss’ Sasha Banks, the fans are speculating that Banks is leaving the WWE to face Mickie James.

After the Royal Rumble premium live event, Banks took to Twitter and uploaded two pics alongside Mickie James and veteran Melina.

Eventually, a fan replied to the tweet and noted that it is sad that Mickie James and Sasha Banks never had a one-on-one match inside a WWE ring, indicating the time when James made her comeback in 2016.

However, the former champion soon replied and confirmed that she will fight with Mickie James one day.

Now, since this tweet, fans are betting their odds on their favorite female wrestlers. However, there are other sets of audiences who are speculating that the former champion is seeing her way out of the company.

Eventually, it is not clear that WWE has no plans for Mickie James in the future. The former Women’s Champion has confessed that she is on good terms with Vince McMahon and other management people.

The accolades of Mickie James and Sasha Banks

For a moment, let’s imagine the match between Sasha and Mickie is fixed whether in WWE or outside of it. Who will win the bout?

Certainly, this is a difficult question to ask but on paper, it looks like James might be the crowd favorite because of her veteran status. James started wrestling with WWE in 2005 and quickly catapulted to main event status during her feud with Trish Stratus.

While her combined time in WWE, Mickie has been a six-time champion in WWE – five-time Women’s Champion and one-time Diva’s Champion. Along with this, James has been a four-time TNA/Impact Knockout’s Champion, and she is currently in her fourth reign.

Sasha Banks is arguably one of the best female superstars of modern wrestling. Her performance and record-breaking moments in WWE are something that will always be immortal for wrestling fans.

Sasha Banks has won four championships in her WWE career so far. ‘The Boss‘ has been a two-time Women’s Tag Team champion, a one-time SmackDown Women’s champion, a five-time Raw Women’s champion, and a one-time NXT Women’s champion.

Clearly, the match between these two female superstars will always be a treat for the fans worldwide, no matter what promotion they wrestle in.
