Adam “Edge” Copeland will be making his Disney+ debut with the latest adaptation of The Percy Jackson and the Olympians. He will be playing the role of the God of War, Ares. And it looks promising!

Here, Edge can be seen wielding Ares’s signature sword and the leather trench coat from the books. Copeland had already teased his debut on Twitter back in October 2022.

With that tough look on his face and a sturdy build, he perfectly matches the persona of The God of War, who is all about conflict. Although, his part may not be just about fighting, as he might play a pivotal role in the story.

With the speculation on the rise about his retirement from WWE, could this mean Edge is trying to make a name for himself in Hollywood? He has been loved and adored by pro wrestling fans all over the world. Whether he’ll be able to make a significant mark like his contemporaries – The Rock, John Cena, or Batista, is something only time will tell.
