Paul Heyman and CM Punk have had a short yet memorable working stint together from mid-2012 to early 2023 in WWE.  The Wise Man recognized Punk’s potential to fly high during their time in Ohio Valley Wrestling and contributed greatly in shaping his career forward through the intricacies of the global pro wrestling world. Later in WWE, during Punk’s 434-day championship reign, their relationship peaked at an all-time high with Heyman managing him throughout as the biggest background creative force. However, the coalition saw a dramatic betrayal shortly after at Money in the Bank 2013. 11 years later, it seems WWE’s planning to bring them together again in another dynamic narrative.

On Smackdown tonight, the two former allies shared an emotional on-screen segment. Heyman acknowledging his friendship with the Seventh City Saint led to a few banters and a warm hug. As Solo Sikoa interrupted in between and asked Punk to leave the ring the next moment, the 45-year-old asked what favor would Heyman ask if he left. The Wiseman shockingly replied, “Take me with you”. Loud “yes” chants followed.

Does that indicate Heyman transitioning to his babyface aura with Punk on his side, leading to a potential Bloodline breakup? Only time will unveil it.
