Good things come to those who wait, and Cesaro has been waiting for half a decade. The Swiss Superman is WWE’s strongest pound-for-pound superstar and a pure wrestling maestro.

Discounting a United States Championship and many tag title reigns, Cesaro is still waiting for his big break in the company.

On Talking Smack, Cesaro cut the promo of his life, proving that doubts about his mic skills are exaggerated. The Superstar talked about how hard he worked to get to the WWE. His love for professional wrestling shuns any negativity targeted towards him.

“Every single person at home sitting in the, as we call it, Cesaro Section knows it and has ever known it. I appreciate you, I appreciate what you believe in, and that’s why I fight every single day, and I love it. Love, Paul, because I love wrestling. Love will always succeed. Your next Universal Champion, Cesaro, out.”

This passionate promo came after an Elimination Chamber qualifying victory for Cesaro and Daniel Bryan. He teamed up with the man he beat twice in two weeks, putting on some of the best wrestling matches on live television. Cesaro is now one step closer to facing Roman Reigns and beating him for the Universal Championship.

Former United States Champion Ricochet caught wind of this superb promo and praised Cesaro on Twitter. “Can’t say enough good things about this dude. This was real. This explains why I keep going. Why I continue to push forward. Hell yeah.”

The field for the SmackDown Elimination Chamber doesn’t look mighty impressive. Deserving names like Shinsuke Nakamura, Chad Gable, Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins are out, and boring heel Baron Corbin has found a place in the mix. Moreover, Sami Zayn’s shtick is also going stale at a quick pace.

The positives are definitely Cesaro and Daniel Bryan. The two superstars have been tearing it up on SmackDown and are going to tear it up in the Chamber as well.

Along with Jey Uso and Kevin Owens, the SmackDown Chamber match might come down to a face vs face finale.

We can picture Cesaro and Bryan starting the match and running the gauntlet and then battling in a thriller of a closing stretch. Bryan gets the better of Cesaro, setting hip up for the running knee, but the Swiss Superman catches him in the big swing. After giving Bryan a headache for the next few weeks, he plants him with the match-winning Neutraliser.
