The WWE’s women’s division never stops being entertaining. With constant ups and downs on the show and social media, the fans are always kept entertained. The recent semi-feud between Rhea Ripley and Cathy Kelley is heating up on social media with some intriguing posts.

Kelley and Ripley were dating at one point but decided to go their separate ways in the end. Kelley was the first to make her intentions of not wanting to get back clear. However, her recent story on Instagram tells a different tale. 

Cathy Kelley says Ripley is girlfriend material

Rumors of Ripley and Kelley being in a relationship began after the two did a steamy photoshoot together. Unfortunately, as soon as the rumors began of them dating, it was shot down as Kelley began flirting with Samantha Irvin, the RAW announcer. It was not long before Kelley declared that the two were in a long-distance relationship. This put an end to the rumors about Kelley and Ripley being together. 

Besides finding someone new, Kelley also did a photoshoot that looked strikingly similar to the one she did with Ripley. Kelley announced her ‘Moving on‘ from the past relationship she had with Ripley. However, things took another turn as Kelley took to social media to post an image that caught fans off guard. It was Ripley wearing a Cathy Kelley t-shirt with the caption, ‘100% Girlfriend Material’ in all caps.

This could be a simple joke between the two former lovers or it may hint at something else. Ripley has not said anything about this online, although the image was taken from her account. But this has left fans scratching their heads. This post, coming days after Kelley’s photoshoot, makes fans wonder what exactly is going on. A possible love triangle? Back to old obsessions? Nobody knows for sure at the moment.

Ripley is currently in a kayfabe relationship with Dominik Mysterio, and they are both part of the heel faction The Judgment Day. The two show great on-screen chemistry and do not let anyone get in the way of their relationship. It’s an example of WWE’s great storylines. In real life, Ripley is dating AEW’s Buddy Matthews.

Ripley wants to be Edge’s final opponent

While on the topic of social media feuds, we cannot leave out Ripley’s latest comment aimed at a returning WWE legend. A post was recently put online detailing Edge’s return to the WWE before he retires again. The post asked who his final opponent should be. To the amazement of fans, Ripley commented one single word in response: “Me.” 

Edge started the heel faction with Damian Priest following WrestleMania 38. Soon Ripley joined in as the newest member. While inducting Finn Balor into the group, everyone turned on Edge, kicking him out. This led to a feud that involved Rey and Dominik Mysterio on one side and The Judgment Day on the other. Dominik turned heel against his father and Edge, becoming the group’s newest member. This is also when Ripley started her kayfabe relationship.
