A few hours ago, Drake dropped a new song for his fans to listen to. The song is called ‘Wick Man’. As the song name suggests, it comes as another pop culture hit, John Wick. In fact, Keanu Reeves’ character is name-dropped in the first few lines itself. However, an unexpected name drop takes place when the 2nd verse of the song comes in. The easter egg referened John Cena and his wrestling career.

There’s a line in the 2nd verse of the song that goes, “I’m almost expressionless. John Cena wouldn’t know emotions I wrestlе with.” Even though it has been long since John Cena was a full-time wrestling star, it looks like Drake still reminisces about the old times. He also appears to be considering Cena the pinnacle of wrestling through these lines.

Cena immediately returned the nod a few hours later with a subtle Instagram post. In the picture, we can see Drake standing with a WWE Championship on his shoulder that he has flexed publicly numerous times.

The non-captioned Instagram post by the Hollywood celebrity suggests that he didn’t miss the reference in Drake’s latest song. It can also be their way of foreshadowing a collab in the near future. The theory has credence since the WWE legend has displayed his knack for wordplay and rhymes during his stint in the Stamford based promotion.
