IRONY! Mario Lopez Botches WWE’s Name as He Interviews Randy Orton and Riddle at SummerSlam 2021

Mario Lopez interviewed Randy Orton and Matt Riddle, the new Raw Tag Team Champions after their match against the former champions, AJ Styles and Omos, at WWE SummerSlam 2021.

Randy Orton expressed that if he said that RK-Bro is back, he meant it. From now onwards, it will be smooth sailing for the Raw Tag Team Champions. He said that three words will dominate the tag team titles, but he said Bro with a lower tone and walked away.

Following that, Matt Riddle was asked to comment and he clarified Orton walking away after saying Bro was code for Matt Riddle is his new best friend. Next, Riddle revealed that he has a surprise in store for Randy Orton on Monday Night Raw. He didn’t reveal what it was, but it should be good!

Unfortunately for Mario Lopez, even though he was the interviewer, he botched! He referred to WWE as WWF! He may be a celebrity, but calling the entire company by the wrong name on live TV is noticed by everyone.

Matt Riddle and Randy Orton worked like a well-oiled machine

RK-Bro showed the WWE Universe why they deserve to be Raw Tag Team champions during the WWE SummerSlam 2021.

Both of them showed immense team work against AJ Styles and Omos. It wasn’t going to be easy to defeat a tag team which had Omos in it. In fact, Omos did brutally beat down Matt Riddle more than once. There was a point when Omos caught Riddle by the throat in mid air.

However, Randy Orton gained momentum during the match, and finally pinned AJ Styles to take RK-Bro to the championship at SummerSlam 2021.

Keeping the moments during the match aside, Randy Orton let Matt Riddle hold both the titles and pose while Orton stood behind him in his signature pose. It was an extremely proud moment for everyone in the WWE Universe rooting for RK-Bro.

Even while walking backstage, Orton called for Matt Riddle to pose with him and the titles. This is not like The Apex Predator. However, The Original Bro did earn his respect, and both of them reunited to take forward the unlikely tag team.

It’s unknown who will be their next opponents, but a rematch against AJ Styles and Omos seems inevitable.
