There is nothing that got people talking about AEW more than the All Out 2022 backstage brawl. Everyone on the internet and elsewhere was taking sides. Some backed CM Punk while others supported Elite. But that was back in September 2022, and everything in the company is getting back to normal.

While Tony Khan and the company are moving forward, we never got answers from the people involved in the incident that night. But now Kenny Omega has finally revealed his take on the issue after reflecting on it five months later.

Kenny Omega, the former AEW World Champion, sat down with Renee Paquette on The Sessions podcast. Talking about his time in AEW, he revealed details about his contract slowly coming to an end. He also talked about the women’s division, the part of AEW that he has taken under his wing. But the thing that got everyone’s attention was that he talked about the All Out 2022 backstage brawl and his opinion on what happened.

One of the most tight-lipped topics among AEW wrestlers, the brawl was a breaking point for the company. But it seems like Omega is healing from it. He said, “We’ve moved on with life (from Brawl Out). I’m completely fine it doesn’t dictate what I do or what I say, I’m sure The Bucks are in the same boat. I can’t speak to the other parties, hopefully, they are doing well and I mean that.

Also, he mentioned that the entire thing wasn’t ever supposed to happen. He believes that everyone is in agreement that it was a terrible situation for them as well as for the company. The Cleaner said the thing he is grateful for is that no one was harmed or injured in that altercation, but he felt like no one was talking about it, and the only way to move forward was to talk. Let’s hope fans think the same, after their outburst of hate on Twitter over the matter.
